For 2010, the popular crossover Suzuki SX4 has been significantly revised. Along with some cosmetic changes, the main difference in the SX4 SZ range is the heavily revised 1.6 litre engine. The top half of the engine has been changed to create a more powerful and more economical unit. Power has increased by 15 BHP to 120 BHP while increasing fuel economy to 45.6 mpg. These changes have also drastically cut the CO2 emissions the SX4 emits. This is now 143 g/Kg and means that the annual road tax cost is now just £125.

The SX4 trim levels now follow the new Suzuki ’SZ’ model designation and is available in two trim levels. These are called SZ3 and SZ4. All SX4’s now have a restyled front bumper and new instrument cluster. The SZ3 replaces the GL trim level and the specification remains unchanged. The SZ4 trim level gains a new style of alloy wheel, full climate control and an extra dashboard mounted speaker.

As with all Suzuki models, the SX4 benefits from a 3 year/60,000 miles warranty, AA assistance for 1 year and a 12 year anti-perforation warranty.
