General...

The UK registration date is not necessarily connected to the date of manufacture. You may not be the first registered keeper of the vehicle. The vehicles will be supplied with the balance of the manufacturer's warranty where available. ‘The Archers Group’ will pass to you all keys, manuals, service records and radio codes received. The vehicle does not become the customer's until it is paid for with cleared funds

Deposits...

A deposit of Two hundred pounds (£200 (or otherwise agreed)) is required with every order to show the customer's commitment to purchase the vehicle and ‘The Archers Group’ commitment to supply the vehicle. Any payment made in excess of £200 (or will have been individually negotiated between ‘The Archers Group’ and the customer and is set out on the front of the invoice. If the customer fails to collect and pay the balance of the price without lawful reason by the agreed date, ‘The Archers Group’ will be entitled to treat the agreement as cancelled by the customer and offer the vehicle for re-sale and claim from the customer any reasonable losses suffered which may include but are not limited to stocking charges, unrecoverable extras fitted to the vehicle, and any reduction in the value of the vehicle. ‘The Archers Group’ will be entitled to use the deposit and any prepayment to reduce its reasonable losses. Any excess will be returned to the customer and any shortfall will be paid by the customer. If ‘The Archers Group’ fail to have the vehicle ready for collection by the agreed date, ‘The Archers Group’ shall return the deposit and any prepayment to the customer. ‘The Archers Group’ will not be liable to the customer for any losses the customer may suffer.

Internet Deposits...

‘The Archers Group’ does not undertake distance sales whether by the Internet or any other means. Where a customer sees a vehicle on the internet or in any other advertisement placed by ‘The Archers Group’ they can pay a deposit of £200 (or otherwise agreed) over the Internet by credit or debit card. Such a deposit, if it is accepted, will become a holding deposit. ‘The Archers Group’ will hold the vehicle for an agreed period for the customer to inspect. The taking of such a deposit does not bind ‘The Archers Group’ or the customer to the purchase of the vehicle. The holding deposit is non- refundable, unless otherwise agreed by the customer and ‘The Archers Group’. Nothing in this section shall apply to customers who visit ‘The Archers Group’ premises and subsequently orders, over the Internet, a vehicle, which they have previously viewed. Once the customer has visited our showrooms, and decided to buy this vehicle (or any other vehicle) then they will be asked to sign an Order Form incorporating our standard Terms and Conditions for Showroom Sales. If we agree to sell the customer a vehicle, then their Holding Deposit will become non-refundable except in the circumstances set out in our standard Terms and Conditions for Showroom Sales.

Warranties...

The vehicle will be supplied with the balance of the manufacturer's warranty where available. Manufacturer's warranties for imported vehicles may vary from those for vehicles manufactured in the UK. Any claim by the customer based upon defects in the quality or condition of the vehicle shall be notified to ‘The Archers Group’ within a reasonable time of the date of collection, or where the defects were not apparent on a reasonable inspection, within a reasonable time after discovery of the defects.

Copyright...

Indemnity...

Variation of content...

‘The Archers Group’ shall have the right in its absolute discretion at any time and without notice to amend, remove or vary any of the content supplied in connection with the Service or which appears on any page of the ‘The Archers Group’ website.

Submissions...

All information and material submitted by you to ‘The Archers Group’ or that you publish on any public area of the ‘The Archers Group’ website shall be provided by the submitter and accepted by ‘The Archers Group’ on a non-confidential basis subject to paragraph 2 above. Furthermore, ‘The Archers Group’ shall be granted a perpetual royalty-free, non-exclusive licence in the copyright of any material submitted and ‘The Archers Group’ shall be free to use, edit, copy, republish and distribute (for any purpose) and authorise others to do the same, any such information or material and any ideas contained in such information or material.

Termination...

‘The Archers Group’ may at any time terminate or suspend any part of the Service without notice to you.

Governing law and jurisdiction...

Upon entering the ‘The Archers Group’ site you are bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with Scots law and irrespective of your place of domicile, in the event of any dispute associated with these terms and conditions, that dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the aforementioned judicial system.

Entire agreement...

The above Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement of the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and The Archers Group. Any waiver of any provision of the Terms of Service will be effective only if in writing and signed by a Director of The Archers Group.

Variation of content...

Error...

‘The Archers Group’ on all occasions strives to ensure that all prices displayed and advertised on this website are accurate and correct. However in the event of an error occurring in regard to the displayed price of any product on this website, the company reserves the right to change and correct the price and to offer the customer the goods at the correct price only.

• 3. The free prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland only, excluding employees or     agents of Best Value Cars or anyone else connected to the free prizedraw and/or their immediate family.
• 4. Only one entry per household is allowed. All submitted entries become the property of Best Value Cars. Winners’ names     and counties will be available on request from Best Value Cars.
• 5. Entrants must be at least 21 years of age.
• 6. No purchase is necessary to enter this free prize draw.
