Q. Who are ‘BestValueCars’?
‘BestValueCars’ is the online presence for the Archers Group which has
three dealerships across scotland, Archers of Edinburgh, Frasers of Falkirk and
Hytec of Glasgow. The three dealerships have a 40 yrs collective experience with
a customer base of 12,000.
Q. What services does ‘BestValueCars’ offer?
We offer new and used cars from our three dealerships, Archers of Edinburgh, Frasers
of Falkirk and Hytec of Glasgow. Whether you are a business or a private customer
‘BestValueCars’ can also provide a wide range of competitive financing
solutions and you can use our online finance quote system as many times as you like
to find the right quote for you. We also offer a comprehensive part exchange service.
Generally we request that vehicles are collected from one of our three dealerships,
Archers of Edinburgh, Frasers of Falkirk or Hytec of Glasgow. However on some occasions
we may be able to offer a delivery service. Please contact the respective dealership
for more details on this.
Q. Do all your new cars come with a warranty?
All new cars purchased are supplied with the full manufacturer’s warranty. All warranty
claims and work can be carried out by any dealership.
Q. Are all your new cars the current model range?
Yes. However, when a new range is released there is sometimes an overlap where both
the new and the old models are still able to be purchased. In this circumstance,
the year of the model is added to the title to distinguish it from the old model.
If there are no distinguishing year's in the title of your new vehicle then it will
be the current model. If you have any doubts then double-check with the dealership.
Q. What are your standard collection times?
The time which you can collect your new car will vary depending on manufacturer
and model you choose. Please contact the dealership for more information specific
to manufacturer and model.
Please bear in mind delivery times can be affected by a number of factors like:
- How many optional extras you choose (how complicated your build is)
- The demand for your particular model
- Manufacturing pressures (sometimes there are delays in the factory)
- The time of the year.
Q. Will my local dealership service and maintain my car after delivery?
Yes, absolutely. All dealerships and manufacturer approved service centres will
welcome your custom.
Q. What is the best way to get in contact with my sales advisor?
If you haven't already received an email from your dealership it may be that your
email account has automatically sent our email to your junk email. Please check
your junk email folder to see if you have received an email from us. If you have
this email then you can reply to your dealership agent directly or for all the details
of how to get in touch with the dealership by phone, email, or our address, visit
the contact us page.
Q. The specification or options shown on your website for the car don't appear
to be correct?
In 99% of cases we have the very latest data on models and more than likely the
new specification has slightly changed since your brochure was printed. However,
there is always a possibility that errors might exist, if you believe you have found
one then please inform us so we can help to improve our website and keep it accurate.
All our cars are supplied to the UK manufacturer specification.
Q. Can I cancel my order, and get a refund of the deposit?
The deposit is a holding deposit which does not bind you or BestValueCars to the
sale of the vehicle. This deposit is a non-refundable payment of £200. By making
this deposit you are not committing to purchase the car and so you can cancel the
order within the two days after the deposit has been made. Further details can be
found within our Terms and Conditions. If you require any further information then
please contact your sales agent.
Q. Do your prices include all costs? VAT?
Yes. Our prices include VAT. There are no hidden costs – we are dedicated to making
sure you get the best deal possible. We can't be best on everything, but we do try.
Q. Can I save money by paying cash?
No. We do accept cash, but for large sums of money we need to arrange a visit to
the local bank to verify the cash amount which needs to be planned.
Q. How do I get an update on an existing order?
If you have already placed an order with BestValueCars and are waiting for your
new car to be built or delivered then you can request an update from BestValueCars.
If BestValueCars have received an update from the manufacturer during the course
of your order we will send you an update - so in all likelihood your order will
still be working to the dates agreed when you placed your order However, if you
would still like an update please contact
us.
Q. I've placed an order, but want to change something, what do I do?

as soon as possible and we can discuss if changes to your order are still possible.

Q. I have a technical problem, what do I do?
It's uncommon that we receive technical issues with the website that can't be fixed
by closing down your browser and re-starting it again. It's sometimes hard to determine
whether the BestValueCars.co.uk site is at fault or some other aspect of a user's

They update their information roughly once a month so there may be instances where
there are inconsistencies, if you have any queries about this then please contact us

Q. How often is the BestValueCars site updated?
The BestValueCars.co.uk site is changed regularly with cars new cars being added,
sold cars being removed and existing car prices being changed where appropriate.
